OK, so it is the Aussie Nats, but understandable excitement for World Cup reached fever pitch Day2 as top French competitor Max Gaubert came flying down the docks on a skateboard proudly flying his Tricolor after the French team’s overnight victory. Asked had he stayed up all night to watch the final, Max was typically pragmatic in response “No, I was so tired from racing! I went to bed. Then got up to watch the match!!” Super proud. And the display didn’t stop there..
Day 2 of racing about to commence in the lightest conditions of the week..
And Max – together with Noumea’s Alex and Mo – will be on fire for all good reasons!!
